Pocket Queens – Sneaky Good
| August 12, 2012 | Posted by Matt under Hollywood Hills West, Modern, Real Estate, Sunset Strip |
Where my poker players at? Aren’t pocket Queens sick? I mean, they’re a little scary because you’re freaking out about that Ace or King on the flop, turn, or river; but they also give you the flexibility to milk the table out of a lot of money without coming off obvious. Err… I mean… don’t gamble kids.
Anyways, why am I talking poker? Because for the second day in a row we’re checking out a property on Queens Rd. in the Hollywood Hills.
Today we check out this Bowery Design made home. You’ve got your indicative Bowery style delivering a gorgeous mid-century modern design to this home that hovers just above the lights of the city and the sunset strip.
Other than the inside/out modernist design, the home has quite a few distinctive features such as towering ceiling heights, an open floor plan, walls of glass and endless views.
It’s also got plenty of warm and organic finishes such as reclaimed barn wood ceilings, split-face Jerusalem stone walls and wide-plank oak floors provide a warmth & intimacy.
By its design and location, the home is basically made for small or large scale entertaining, an infinity pool/spa, an envious master suite with its own 1,000 square foot entertaining deck with a wet bar, a fireplace and firepit and vantage lighting and home automation all throughout. And random numbers on the wall.
Basically, this just-completed and pretty meticulously executed home is perfect for somebody who wants to reside within the nucleus of the world famous sunset strip and to own the same real estate as the Mondrian, Skybar, House of Blues, Chateau Marmont and the rest of the Strip’s most coveted shopping, dining & nightlife. So yeah, if that’s you come check it out.
As always, feel free to answer, comment, ask questions or just ramble.
Stay awesome L.A.
