Spanish Romance in the Hollywood Hills

Spanish Romantic architecture. One of my all-time favorite styles, especially for the L.A. landscape. Today we peruse this charming, rare 1920′s Hollywood hills home.
As you can see, the home has this nice gated courtyard entry with exceptional grounds, pool, walking paths, pond, waterfall and views of downtown. (You know you’ve got to wait for that awesome view at the end. Patience young grasshopper.)
This Mediterranean style 3 bed, 2.5 bath villa features separate dining, family and living room, with original details, arched doorways, pocket doors, and a dramatic stone fireplace.
There’s also a super large eat in kitchen, beamed ceilings, distressed granite counters, Viking, Sub Zero, and Bosch appliances and picturesque views of gardens designed by ‘Stamp & Stamp’.
The master bedroom and suite features arched windows, built in wardrobe and terrace. Abundant in charm, areas to relax inside and out, and completely wired with indoor/outdoor speakers. Basically, there’s too many upgrades to recount here. In addition, you’ve got this decorator-perfect 1 bed, 1 bath guest house designed by A. J. Bernard.
It’s close to major freeways and all the fancy-schmancy Hollywood attractions, yet feels like a retreat. Set above the street at the end of a cul de sac. Rich in character, style and completely private for your most discriminating buyer. Super sweet classic pad.
And apparently something wicked yet beautiful this way comes…
As always, feel free to answer, comment, ask questions or just ramble.
Stay awesome L.A.
