Nothing a Little Duct Tape Won’t Fix
| July 22, 2011 | Posted by Matt under Bel Air, Fixer, Los Angeles, Mid-Century, Real Estate |

Attention: investors, flippers, and do-it-yourselfers. Set in a great location, in Bel Air, this place looks like a big steaming pot of potential!

This 1964, 3 bed/3 bath certainly isn’t in perfect condition, but it has some awesome elements!
Awesome feature #1: the pool
The house is built in a horseshoe shape with walls of windows surrounding the pool. (That’s totally a plus–horseshoes are good luck!)
Highland Park Flip
| September 14, 2010 | Posted by Matt under Fixer, Flip, Highland Park |
Everybody loves before and after pictures so here we go. Check out this new listing in Highland Park listed for $459,000. Yes the Seller only paid $277,000 for this property a few months ago but we think that this flip looks great.

We’d like to know your opinion. Does this remodel keep up with some of the other flippers in Highland Park such as Native Homes LA, Better Shelter and ModOp Design?

2 Hollywood Condos, Same Building
| May 3, 2010 | Posted by Matt under Architecture & Decor, Deals, Flip, Hollywood Hills East, Mid-Century, Modern |
I love before/after pictures and what is possible when it comes to fixing up a home or condo. When buying a condo in Silver Lake, Los Feliz or Hollywood a lot of people are looking for space and lots of square footage. Others are looking for the unit to be 100% in move in condition. Here we have 2 units in the same building at 2260 N. Cahuenga at the foothills of the Hollywood Hills. One has the square footage and the other has the upgrades. Which would you choose?
