Los Feliz Mid-Century Revisited

Hey, remember this place? We posted about it in February here. It hasn’t sold, but now it’s back on the market with a lower listing price, new agent, and some better pictures. Shall we take another look?

Fireplace, vaulted ceilings, open airy space–good, good.

A wall of windows with views–also good.

Not sure about the candy-apple cabinets, but lots of people appreciate bar seating in the kitchen.

A yurt is actually a mildly sophisticated tent/teepee structure. Pretty cool, huh? The yurt pictured above is nestled in the jungle-y backyard of this Los Feliz Mid-Century beauty.

But this house doesn’t really need a yurt-y gimmick. It’s awesome all on its own. The living room, here, features a vaulted ceiling, skylights, a stacked stone fireplace, and custom built-ins.

6415 Rodgerton Drive
Los Angeles, CA 90068
$2,495,000
Just below the Hollywood sign, you’ll find this sleek, multi-level, 4 bed, 3.5 bath contemporary home. It is open and airy with huge walls of glass, throughout, offering lots of spectacular, tree-top views of the city lights and canyon.

It’s kind of like living in a gallery. The pristine, white walls, with soaring ceilings and recessed lighting, are perfect for display of big, boldly colored works of art. These large-scale paintings, by artist Kim West, may fit nicely in this home. What do you think?
